Ember Protection - Crosby Road, Kelowna
We begun this project in October 2024 with the focus of retrofitting all attic and soffit openings with CSA-certified ember-resistant vents and sealed gaps to block wind-driven embers. Cleared and hardscaped the 0–5 ft zone and installed real-time ember-detection sensors for comprehensive wildfire defense.
At Crosby Road, EmberCure’s team retrofitted every attic and soffit opening with CSA-certified, 316-grade stainless‐steel ember‐resistant vents and sealing gaskets to eliminate all penetration points. We then cleared and hardscaped the critical 0–5 ft Zone 0 perimeter, removing combustible debris and installing gravel, and added AI-enabled ember‐detection sensors to provide real-time alerts, ensuring this home is fully protected against wind-driven embers.
